Ryu was an amazing tour guide! He took our family from our hotel to a few stops near mt Fuji and then Hakone today. He was very prompt, a safe driver, personable, informative about the history and gave interesting information about the sites, and made sure we stayed organized and understood where to meet and what to do. We fwlt like we were in good hands! He also made sure to communicate with the lunch restaurant about our shellfish allergy. Thanks for making our time in Mt Fuji so great Ryu!

We had such a wonderful experience with Xplor Japan. The booking process was really easy and great communication throughout. The trip itself was magical; Imran our driver was fantastic. He was very thoughtful and really listened to what we wanted from the day. He went out of his way to make the day special for us.

We took the Mt Fuji and Halone day tour with Ryu and it was amazing. We were very lucky with the weather and the Fuji view was astonishing. Ryu is a great person and guide, he was very patient with our son and granny. He drove us safely and sowed great flexibility. Thank you Ryu, we will see you again next time we come to Japan.

MOUNT FUJI - A PICTURE PERFECT TOUR

Our one-day customized car tour to Mount Fuji from Tokyo was truly wonderful, made possible by our guide for the day, Ryu.

Even before we got down to the front of our hotel at 7am, Ryu was already there to pick us up. Equipped with interesting stories about Mount Fuji the iconic mountain, Ryu was all ready with any Q&A we had for him.

Ryu exudes a passion for his job and showed that, after 28 years in Japan, he knows the country’s history and culture, going beyond the usual descriptions of tourist places.

He knows exactly which photo stop would give us the best pictures and he personally takes memorable, well composed shots that no
we-fie can ever give. With Ryu around, you can leave home without your selfie stick.

So for our very first trip to Japan, we were indeed very fortunate to have Ryu on board with us. Not only did he give a detailed and insightful narration about Mount Fuji, the lakes and traditional villages that we visited, the pictures he took of us crystallized our memories into picture perfect photos for this tour.

This customised tour to see Mt Fuji was packaged by XplorJapan for Viator.
